Google for Education announced today that G Suite for Education is now Google Workspace for Education. As a premium educational software provider, Google Workspace for Education offers an expanded portfolio of education solutions providing more choice and control to K-12 districts and Higher Education institutes.
The new Google Workspace for Education solutions include four editions that provide flexibility yet ensure a best-in-class experience for students and staff. The four editions are as follows:
Education Fundamentals: No-cost tools that empower your school community with a suite of secure tools that enable learning and collaboration
Education Standard: All the benefits of Education Fundamentals with advanced security and analytics
Teaching and Learning Upgrade: All the benefits of Education Fundamentals plus enhanced meet, classroom, and assignment features
Education Plus: The ultimate suite of tools that offers full Google Workspace for Education capabilities for both IT teams and educators
